Lauren

Lauren has over nine years of experience in the mental health sector and she is currently completing her Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. She is a BACP Registered Psychotherapist, working with clients from diverse backgrounds and a wide range of life experiences. She fosters empowerment and resilience in her clients, with a calm, warm, and empathetic approach. She has experience and training in trauma-informed care that allows her to work holistically, supporting individuals as they explore how their past experiences shape their current situations and sense of self.

Lauren has worked for many years as a Senior Project Manager and clinician at EASE Wellbeing, a mental health service working both within GP surgeries and with private referrals. She did this role working alongside Chekkie for a significant period of time. Her other previous experience includes two years as a volunteer counselor with Childline and as part of her Doctorate studies, Lauren completed a clinical placement with a charity supporting women and girls affected by abuse. She has also volunteered in Bali, working in a government-funded mental health hospital, orphanages, and schools, where she provided culturally sensitive support to children and adults.

Lottie

Lottie is a compassionate psychotherapist with five years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. She is in the final stages of her doctorate in existential psychotherapy, with a particular focus on researching the lived experiences of first-time mothers returning to work after maternity leave.

Lottie is a BACP and UKCP registered therapist, she has had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across different age groups and with varying complexities. This breadth of experience has allowed her to cultivate a flexible, calm, and empathetic approach to therapy. Lottie works collaboratively with clients, taking a client-centred approach that encourages self-exploration and growth through reflective listening and tailored interventions.

Lottie’s previous volunteer work at a mental health charity has further shaped her therapeutic style, where she worked alongside other practitioners and contributed to a campaign focused on reducing stigma around mental health, especially among young people. She believes in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their concerns and feel heard and supported.
